Overview: Jiangsu Vocational College of Information Technology is a state-owned state-run higher vocational college directly under Jiangsu Provincial Department of Education, and it is Jiangsu high-level vocational school construction unit with Chinese characteristics.

The college is located beside the beautiful Tai Lake in Wuxi City, Jiangsu Province, China, and it has two campuses of Outang and Dongting now; the main campus is located in Wuxi Vocational Education Park, covering an area of 1165 mu, building area of 367000 square meters, practical training equipment of more than 100 million Yuan, and books of more than 760000 copies. There are 13000 registered school students in the college and more than 664 full-time teachers, of which the number of double-qualified teachers account for more than 90%.

The college now has Microelectronics School, Intelligent Engineering School, Automotive and Intelligent Transportation School, Internet of Things Engineering School(Information Security School), Art Design School, Business School, Architectural Engineering School, Marxism School, Cadet School, Basic Course Department, Overseas Education School, Continuing Education School, Innovation and Entrepreneurship School, with 40 admission majors; among them, there are 2 key construction majors by central financial support, 2 brand majors of Jiangsu Province, 4 key construction majors group of Jiangsu Province, 5 provincial backbone majors; it formed a group of majors with distinct features by fusing internet of things technology with modern manufacturing and service industry. The college is also

leading the establishment of Wuxi Integrated Circuit Industry Institute, "China Vocational Education Microelectronics Industry and Education Alliance", and "China Electronic Information Federation Internet of Things Industry and Education Alliance". The college adheres to the school motto of "Cultivation of Integrity and Ability",as the development guideline. More than 120000 technical skilled talents with innovative and entrepreneurial spirit have graduated from the college, which provides talents guarantee for economic construction in Wuxi City, Jiangsu Province and Yangtze River Delta Region.
