Overview: Nanjing Polytechnic Institute was found in 1958, which was the attached school of the "Greatest Factory in Far East" Yongli Chemical Industry Company found by Mr. Fan Xudong in 1934. The name of the school has changed several times along the history, developed more than 80,000 talents since 60 years.

NJPI won the "National Top 50 Colleges in International Influence" for three years, and other prizes like "Provincial Education Advanced Unit" and so on. Up till now, NJPI has set collaboration relationship with 90 schools or organizations from 27 countries or regions

The school enrolled more than thousand oversea students from 23 countries for 21 specialties since 2013, ranked top level among Jiangsu Vocational Colleges.

Since 2014 NJPI assisted enterprises which expanding overseas in talent developing, and started the oversea student Modern Apprenticeship project. The graduates from Indonesia of the "Modern Apprenticeship" completed their study in NJPI, and received the air ticket from the enterprise in the collaboration.
