Overview: Xuzhou Kindergarten Teachers College (XKTC) is the first preschool teacher college approved by the Ministry of Education in Jiangsu Province of Huaihai Economic Zone.

From 2018 to 2023, the comprehensive competitiveness of XKTC ranked first for six consecutive years in all kindergarten teachers colleges in China. In 2019, the vitality of teaching reform ranked first among the national normal colleges. In recent years, the school has undertaken various national programs like "Professional Teachers Development Program". The school features in cultivating male kindergarten teachers, which has won the second prize of National Teaching Achievement and the first prize of Provincial Teaching Achievement.

XKTC is the vice chairman unit of the Kindergarten Teacher Training Guidance Committee of the Ministry of Education, the deputy director unit of the Educational Professional Teaching Guidance Committee of Vocational Colleges of the Ministry of Education, and the vice chairman unit of the Chinese Preschool Education Research Association. It is also the national language promotion base, the national-level production training base, demonstration national training base of the Ministry of Education, and national 1+X certificate system pilot colleges.

In the past five years, all the teachers and students of XKTC had taken part in all kinds of competitions and achieved a lot. Professional teachers of XKTC won the first prize in national teaching competitions totally three times, and the students won grand prize in the national competition of "Challenge Cup", as well as the first prize in National Vocational College Skills Competition. The number of first prize awards gained by preschool education majors always ranks the top in provincial Skills Competition for Normal Students.
