Overview: Yancheng Institute of Technology (YCIT) is a public university with rigorous academic programs centered in Engineering. As an Eastern coastal city located in Jiangsu Province, China, Yancheng is a new industrial city with automobile, new energy, electronic information, and steel as its leading industries. It is known as the "International Wetland City" and the "World Natural Heritage Site". YCIT, including it's master's degree programs, educates over 24000 students and employs 1700 faculty members.

YCIT has solid teaching resources with a wide variety of disciplines and specialties. Among the various disciplines, Engineering Science, Material Science, and Chemistry rank in top 1% of the world's ESI rankings, equipped with first-class laboratories, as well as experimental and training centers inside and outside the campus.

Students have a solid professional foundation, a high level of innovation and entrepreneurship, and gain a strong ability in practical engineering. Cultural and aesthetic education are also deemed of great importance at YCIT.  Students were invited to Vienna to perform in the Golden Hall Celebration Concert for the 40th Anniversary of the Establishment of Diplomatic Relations between China and Austria.

YCIT has two beautiful campuses, advanced teaching facilities, and well-founded infrastructures, including athletic fields, football fields, multi-functional sports halls, as well as well-equipped students' living spaces. YCIT has established partnerships with many universities around the world, including prestigious establishments in the USA, Germany, Russia, Japan, as well as Hong Kong, China and Taiwan, China, which attract a large number of overseas students.
