Be down-to-earth and sail far; Dreams light up, illuminating the way forward.
On the world stage, there are many young people with dreams who embark on a journey toward knowledge and growth. Let's focus on one of these young people, who is full of passion. Her name is Astrid Axel Suilin Bokau, an outstanding Indonesian graduate from Yangzhou Polytechnic Institute(YPI).
In 2017, in pursuit of China's advanced manufacturing industry and economic and social development, Astrid came to YPI in China to study. During her academic journey, she worked diligently and consistently, achieving excellent academic results. She successfully passed the HSK4 exam, demonstrating her love for Chinese and solid language skills. While Astrid is interested in China's advanced manufacturing industry and economic and social development, she has developed an immense fondness for city of Yangzhou. Since the moment she set foot in the city, she was enthralled by its unique charm. This ancient and modern city, with its rich historical and cultural heritage and thriving economy, has become an ideal place for her to grow and pursue her dreams.
During her academic years in Yangzhou, Astrid established a strong bond with this city and immersed herself in its rich culture. Whenever she strolls along the ancient streets and alleys of Yangzhou, feeling the charm of the ancient architecture and traditional arts, her heart is filled with a sense of wonder. The beautiful scenery, delicious food, and hospitable people make her feel a sense of warmth and belonging.
During her school years, Astrid participated in various school activities and showed a willingness to help others. She not only helped her teachers, but also witnessed the great achievements of China's Belt and Road Initiative. This initiative has promoted cooperation and exchange between China and countries around the world, bringing new opportunities and challenges to economic and social development. As a witness and participant, Astrid felt China's strong influence and responsibility on the global stage.
At the moment of graduation, Astrid felt an immense attachment to the city. She is well aware that it has given her endless opportunities to learn and grow, making her a stronger and more confident person. Every corner of the city invokes memories. She reluctantly bid farewell to her teachers, friends, and classmates, silently vowing that no matter where she is, she will always keep this city in her heart.
