Zaman, a student from Bangladesh, is currently pursuing his master's degree at Nanjing Medical University in Nanjing, East China's Jiangsu province.
Zaman's connection with China dates back to 2014 when the Jiangsu Province Hospital initiated an international endoscopy training program to help doctors from countries along the Belt and Road enhance their surgical skills.
In Bangladesh, many patients do not know about endoscopy treatments, and the availability of doctors and equipment for endoscopy is limited, according to Zaman. He said he hopes to return to his home country with a wealth of knowledge and expertise gained in China to improve healthcare for Bangladeshi people.

Beyond medicine, Zaman's passion for Chinese culture has also played a significant role in his life. He particularly enjoys learning the Chinese language and speaks highly of the warmth and hospitality he has experienced from the Chinese people.
