Photo exhibition on international youth sports week begins in Nanjing

The 2023 Belt and Road Youth Sport Exchange Week (Jiangsu) Photography Exhibition was launched in Nanjing on Oct 19, showcasing 112 photographs that capture the beautiful moments of young participants during this year's event.

From May 25 to 30, the Belt and Road Youth Sport Exchange Week (Jiangsu) took place in various locations, including Huai'an, hosting events such as the Men's 3x3 Basketball Invitational, an outdoor sports challenge, an orienteering training camp, and a series of youth sports and cultural exchange activities.

Nearly 300 international youth from 48 countries and regions along the Belt and Road, who have been studying and working in Jiangsu, actively participated in the photography event and contributed more than 600 photos.

A Pakistani doctoral student from Southeast University's School of Computer Science and Engineering said: "I participated in events like the orienteering training camp this year. The competition was very interesting, and I made many new friends. The Belt and Road Initiative not only facilitates trade between nations but also builds bridges of friendship among the youth of different countries."

The photography exhibition will be held in about 10 universities across Jiangsu, including Southeast University, Nanjing University of Aeronautics and Astronautics, Nanjing Forestry University, and Jiangsu University, from October to December this year.
