The Zhenjiang Culture Center hosted an event aimed at providing overseas students with an immersive experience in Chinese traditional culture and arts on March 29.

Eighteen students from the Overseas Education College of Jiangsu University in Zhenjiang donned traditional Chinese clothing as they delved into the origins of the guqin, its musical theory, and basic fingerings, and learned to play the ancient instrument. Through hands-on experience and guidance, they gained insights into the rich cultural heritage.

The Zhenjiang Culture Center aims to establish more partnerships with local educational institutions such as Jiangsu University to continue organizing such activities regularly.
