The Jiangsu Provincial Department of Education has released the list of universities participating in the 2024 "Discover Jiangsu" International Summer Program. A total of 25 universities, including Nanjing University, Southeast University, and Nanjing University of Aeronautics and Astronautics, will host 27 programs focusing on various themes such as climate and environmental protection, artificial intelligence, and flexible electronics.
The international summer program, inaugurated in 2023, is scheduled from June to August this year. Although the duration of each school's program varies, they all last at least 14 days. The programs will bring together foreign and Chinese students to participate in academic lectures, seminars, experiments, and practical trainings, exploring cutting-edge issues and research hotspots across various disciplines.
Additionally, students will engage in cultural experiences designed to provide a deeper understanding of Jiangsu's history, culture, environment, and industries.
In 2023, 10 universities hosted the international summer programs, wherein 500 students from China and abroad took part in academic exchanges in fields such as architectural design, aerospace, information technology, water resource management, and traditional Chinese medicine.
