International students explore culture and innovation in Changzhou

An event of the 2024 "Reading Jiangsu" program for international students was held in Changzhou from May 29 to 30, bringing together over 100 students from 32 countries, including Russia, Pakistan, Bangladesh, Laos, and Ghana, alongside more than 30 teachers from 28 universities across Jiangsu province.

During the event, students visited three leading new energy companies in Changzhou: Li Auto, BYD, and Svolt Energy, gaining a comprehensive understanding of the city's advancements in the new energy vehicle industry. Students also toured cultural landmarks such as Dongpo Park and Qingguo Alley, increasing their knowledge of the local culture.
At Canal 5 Creativity Campus, the students immersed themselves in traditional Chinese calligraphy and explored the area's old architecture.
"Participating in this event has given me a profound understanding of Changzhou's history and culture. I have witnessed the industriousness of its people, as well as the city's continuous innovation and progress," said an Uzbekistani student studying at China University of Mining and Technology.
