On June 21, the "Discover Jiangsu • American Youth Exchange Program" hosted a meeting in Nanjing. The event was attended by 250 teachers and students representing 24 US states, including California, Pennsylvania, Texas, Washington, and Florida.

Jiang Yong, director-general of the Jiangsu Provincial Department of Education, highlighted the long-standing, extensive, and high-level educational cooperation between Jiangsu and the United States. He encouraged more young Americans to visit Jiangsu to gain a comprehensive understanding of China's development.

He also encouraged the US participants to befriend their Jiangsu counterparts, share their experiences with family and friends, and consider further studies at universities in Jiangsu.

They will visit local schools to connect with Jiangsu students, explore economic development zones and urban renewal projects, and immerse themselves in Chinese culture through activities such as learning Chinese, tasting local cuisine, practicing martial arts, and experiencing traditional tea ceremonies.
