The 2024 "Discover Jiangsu" international summer school recently wrapped up at China Pharmaceutical University in Nanjing. During the vibrant two-week event, nearly 100 young participants from 20 countries explored the world of traditional Chinese medicine (TCM).

Students engaged in a range of activities, including academic seminars, hands-on TCM experiences, and visits to pharmaceutical companies, hospitals, and cultural landmarks.

One notable experience came from a student from Iraq, who had long suffered from migraines without significant relief, even after trying various treatments. After just 15 minutes of acupuncture at Jiangning Traditional Chinese Medicine Hospital, his pain was greatly alleviated. He was thrilled, saying, "The effects of TCM are immediate and impressive. I will share this experience with everyone I know so that more people are aware of TCM's effectiveness."

A US student was equally amazed, remarking, "The ability to treat ailments with nothing more than a needle is unimaginable in the United States."
