Nantong Museum hosted a vibrant cultural exchange event on Jan 19 that brought foreign friends, residents, and tourists together to celebrate the upcoming Chinese New Year. The event featured traditional Chinese activities such as writing "Fu" characters, crafting paper-cuts for window decoration, and experiencing the rich cultural heritage of the holiday.

At the venue, calligraphy masters and enthusiasts from Nantong's Chongchuan district used their brushes to create "Fu" characters and Spring Festival couplets, offering heartfelt New Year blessings to attendees. International students dressed in traditional Chinese clothing participated enthusiastically by taking photos, writing "Fu" characters, and trying their hand at paper-cutting.

The event fostered lively interactions between locals and foreign visitors, with residents explaining the customs and offering insights into the cultural activities. A Moroccan international student from Nantong University shared her excitement, saying, "The Spring Festival in China is so lively, full of New Year spirit!"
