Safety education, cultural celebration held for international students in Taizhou

The exit and entry administration team of Taizhou, Jiangsu, organized a safety education session and cultural activities at Jiangsu Agri-animal Husbandry Vocational College on Jan 17 to strengthen the management of international students during their winter break and promote traditional Chinese culture.
The event began with an introduction from the college's leadership, highlighting the school's internationalization efforts and achievements. The exit and entry administration team leader then gave a detailed presentation, using a video to explain important legal matters regarding student visas, employment, and safety. The session underscored the significance of complying with local laws and regulations during the winter break, as well as the importance of practicing self-protection measures.
Following the educational session, the team, along with representatives from the local police calligraphy and painting association, invited international students to write the character "Fu" (福), symbolizing good fortune and immersing them in Chinese cultural traditions. The atmosphere was warm and harmonious, with students fully engaging in the experience.
The college leadership and the international students expressed gratitude for the visit. This event allowed the students to experience the festive spirit of Chinese New Year and better understand Chinese culture. Strong calls were for more such activities, further enriching their cultural experience in China.
