The campus came alive with rows of red lanterns, colorful spring couplets, "fu" characters, and decorations unique to the Year of the Snake. International students from various countries, wearing red scarves and joyful smiles, participated in crafting traditional New Year items. They printed auspicious "fu" characters on red paper, created intricate paper cuttings, and wrote heartfelt messages on wish cards. A student from Bangladesh added a special touch by performing folk songs on the guitar, expressing gratitude to the faculty and sharing New Year blessings.

The highlight of the event was the dumpling-making session. Students learned the craft, progressing from awkward attempts to skilled creations. A variety of shapes — round, flat, long, and plump — filled the tables, reflecting a spirit of international friendship.
Over 500 international students are staying on campus during this winter break. To enhance student comfort, the university has introduced dedicated support measures, which include routine checks on dormitories and practical solutions for everyday challenges. Additionally, a series of festive activities have been planned, offering students an in-depth experience of Chinese culture and fostering a deeper understanding and love for China.
