An expert review meeting on the feasibility study for Phase I of the Nanjing University of Posts and Telecommunications Wuxi Campus was held on March 14.

During the meeting, the project's construction team provided a comprehensive report on the campus's overall planning, construction scale, academic disciplines, and talent development goals. The feasibility study team systematically assessed the project's necessity, rationality, and feasibility, backed by scientific data analysis. Meanwhile, the design team presented technical insights on developing a modern, intelligent, and eco-friendly campus, covering aspects such as the layout of teaching and research areas, architectural design of public buildings, human-centered living facilities, and ecological landscape planning.

Experts and representatives from relevant departments conducted an in-depth evaluation of planning compliance, technical feasibility, and implementation innovation. They provided professional advice on optimizing the design, scheduling the construction phases, and streamlining the project approval process to accelerate implementation. 

Located in Huishan district, the NJUPT Wuxi Campus will cover a total construction area of 352,000 square meters and accommodate around 10,000 students. It will house five specialized schools: the School of Future Information Science and Engineering, the School of Intelligent Software and Engineering, the School of Industrial Internet and Robotics, the School of Internet Finance, and the International College.
