A group of 28 international youth braved the spring rain to embark on a cultural journey through Wuxi on April 21, uncovering the city's history, beauty, and flavors.

Their itinerary included some of Wuxi's most iconic cultural landmarks: Jichang Garden, the Yingyueli block in Huishan Ancient Town, and the Qingming Bridge Historical and Cultural Block.

At Jichang Garden, they admired the elegant layout of Jiangnan-style landscaping—pavilions, rockeries, and pools blending harmoniously. In Yingyueli, they strolled through quaint alleys, absorbing the historical charm etched in the architecture. Along the canal in Qingming Bridge Historical and Cultural Block, the quiet flow of water told silent tales of Wuxi's rich past.

The visitors were equally impressed by Wuxi's exquisite intangible cultural heritage and distinctive local cuisine. "It's my first time in Wuxi, and everything here is stunning," said Jose Carlos, a student from Mexico. "I've seen a different side of China and tasted unique local snacks. The culture is truly captivating. I've fallen in love with this city and hope to return to work and live here someday."

The cultural visit was organized as part of the annual China Trip event by the Chinese Students' Union of London Business School. The program aims to immerse foreign students in China's rich culture.

Wuxi was chosen for a special reason—both the organizer, Zha Yinuo, and the president of the student union are Wuxi natives. They felt proud when Wuxi was featured in this year's Spring Festival Gala and were eager to share their hometown's beauty with others.

"We've compiled the highlights of the trip and will soon share them on social media," said Zha. "I believe these images and videos will inspire more people from around the world to visit and experience Wuxi for themselves."
