The inaugural "Friendship City Talks – Asian Youth Dialogue on the Future" was held in Nanjing on May 24, bringing together 1,000 international students from Asian countries studying at universities such as Nanjing University, Nanjing University of Aeronautics and Astronautics, and Nanjing University of Chinese Medicine.

Centered on the theme "Technology · Culture · Sustainable Future", the event featured a series of activities including an Asian cultural festival, keynote speeches, roundtable discussions, and campus visits to promote meaningful cross-border dialogue.

The keynote session explored the intersection of science and the humanities. Professor Li Piji of NUAA delivered a speech examining the breakthroughs and challenges of integrating neuroscience and AI technology. Professor Chi Ruobing from Shanghai International Studies University emphasized the importance of intercultural understanding in her speech.

At the cultural festival, students from 21 Asian countries wore traditional attire, showcasing the region's cultural richness. Visitors sampled Thai mango sticky rice and Georgian wine, while vibrant displays of Vietnamese ao dai and Uzbek robes drew enthusiastic crowds for photos.

International students exchanged ideas on cultural innovation, cross-border collaboration, and future-oriented strategies, offering diverse and forward-thinking perspectives.
