NUAA, Hokkaido Information University sign cooperation agreement to deepen academic exchange

A delegation headed by Shigeto Watanabe, president of Hokkaido Information University, visited Nanjing University of Aeronautics and Astronautics on Oct 16. During the visit, both institutions signed an agreement to promote international exchange.

Watanabe said Hokkaido Information University has clear strengths in areas like information system optimization, digital twin technology development, and intelligent interaction design. The university also has substantial experience in training application-oriented students. He expressed enthusiasm about expanding cooperative opportunities with NUAA, particularly in aerospace-related fields.

Jiang Bin, president of NUAA, said that the university has long been committed to advancing key disciplines such as aerospace, aviation, electronic information, and artificial intelligence, while continuously promoting academic and research innovation.

Jiang expressed hope that the two universities will further deepen academic exchange and collaborate on joint talent development, injecting new momentum to educational cooperation between China and Japan.
