Foreign students from Yangzhou, Hefei explore new exchange pathways

International students from Yangzhou University, Yangzhou Polytechnic University, Yangzhou Polytechnic Institute, and Jiangsu College of Tourism visited Hefei, Anhui for a two-day exchange event from Nov 21 to 22.
Together with students from the University of Science and Technology of China, Hefei University of Technology, Anhui University, Hefei University, and Anhui Medical University, they explored new ways to deepen cooperation among cities in the Yangtze River Delta.

Students from Thailand, Tunisia, Russia, India, and other countries brought vibrant cultural performances. Some moved the audience with beautiful songs, while others danced gracefully in traditional attire representing their home countries.
Student clubs from Hefei's universities designed a series of engaging cultural activities for their guests from Yangzhou. In an English-language round of Pictionary, participants used animated gestures to act out clues, drawing waves of laughter from the audience. In the handicraft area, international students tried traditional lacquer art, enjoyed Chinese tea, and experienced the elegance of traditional Chinese attire. Cheers filled the room during the pitch-pot game as participants embraced the fun of traditional festivities.

On the afternoon of Nov 21, the visiting students toured the Anhui Innovation Center, where they learned about cutting-edge technologies such as quantum communication, gaining a deeper appreciation for Hefei's role as a national science and technology hub.
They also visited Lord Bao Park, discovering the legacy of Bao Zheng, a Chinese politician honored as the cultural symbol of justice.
