The China-Russia Future Talent Training Program China-Russia Friendship Exchange Demonstration Base was inaugurated at the Nanjing Anti-Japanese Aviation Martyrs Memorial Hall on Nov 18.
The base will serve as a key platform for ongoing exchanges between Chinese and Russian youth, fostering understanding, trust and shared vision as they honor history and look to the future.
On the day, students and teachers from Educational Center No 7 in Ivanteyevka, Russia, who were invited to attend by Nanjing Zhongshan Primary School, visited the memorial hall. The two groups jointly held the "China in My Heart · Russia in My Heart" youth painting exhibition, commemorating Soviet pilots who bravely supported China during the Anti-Fascist War and strengthening the cultural and historical ties between the two nations.
Standing before precious artifacts and archival footage, the youths revisited the heroic contributions of the Soviet Volunteer Air Force in China and reflected on the enduring friendship between the Chinese and Russian people.
