Four high school students at Changzhou Beijiao Senior High School recently assembled a Lu Ban Bridge in under 20 minutes using only traditional mortise and tenon joints without any blueprints or nails. This was the highlight of a US youth delegation's recent visit to China.

Student Feng Chunxi recalled his US teammate's remarks as the wooden joints fit seamlessly: "He said every piece was indispensable, just like in international relations."

On Oct 22, 2025, students and teachers from Diamond Minds Transformational Leadership Academy and the University of Florida visited the Changzhou high school as part of the "Discover Jiangsu · American Youth Exchange Program".

The bridge proved a powerful symbol. Weeks later, US school administrators returned to sign a formal partnership agreement.

Outside the classroom, US students explored Changzhou's historic streets, practiced tai chi, and joined in local sports activities.
