A celebration of Lantern Festival was held at Jiangsu University of Technology on March 3, drawing large numbers of Chinese and international students and faculty to take part in the lively cultural experience.

Campus roads were decorated with rows of red lanterns and colorful light displays, creating a warm holiday atmosphere. Several interactive zones were set up for visitors, including lantern riddle games, hanfu (traditional Chinese clothing) photo spots, and live guzheng (Chinese plucked zither) performances.

Participants were able to answer riddles either through a mobile mini-program or by scanning QR codes placed around the venue, making it easy for students to join in.

Many international students strolled through the lantern displays while carrying traditional lanterns. Kong Qifan, an international student from the Republic of Congo, said it was his first time celebrating the Lantern Festival on campus.

"The lantern viewing and riddle guessing activities allowed me to really feel the joyful festive atmosphere," he said.
