The 2026 International Summer School of Jiangsu University of Technology launched on June 11 in Changzhou.

Centered on intelligent manufacturing, the program combines cutting-edge industrial technology with cultural experiences. Participants will take part in a wide range of activities, including academic lectures, internships, cultural workshops, exchanges between Chinese and international students, visits to new energy enterprises, and field trips to local communities.

So far, more than 20 students from partner universities in the United States and Kazakhstan have joined this year's cohort.

Since the program began in 2024, Jiangsu University of Technology has welcomed nearly 80 students from countries and regions including the United States, Indonesia, South Korea, and Kazakhstan, building a growing platform for international educational cooperation.

Vice-President Wang Jun said Changzhou's deep cultural heritage and strong manufacturing base provide unique advantages for high-level international collaboration in higher education. He encouraged participating students to make full use of the opportunity to engage and exchange ideas.

Representatives from Troy University in the United States and Atyrau University of Oil and Gas in Kazakhstan expressed their strong expectations for the program.
