The Jiangsu International Students Alliance of Higher Education Institutions visited Jiangsu University for an exchange session with students from several African countries on July 17.

The event aimed to provide a platform for young people to connect, deepen international students' understanding of China's industrial and supply chain systems, and offer opportunities for business cooperation.

Professor Su Bo of Jiangsu University delivered a keynote speech, introducing Bolian International Supply Chain. He said the company plans to connect international students with Jiangsu's industrial resources and establish 100 overseas sites and warehousing and distribution hubs in Africa, South America, the Middle East and other regions. It aims to become a leading multinational trading company within the next three to five years.

Bolian plans to apply IoT, blockchain and AI to make supply chains more visible and intelligent, while promoting competitive Chinese products such as new energy products, building materials and prefabricated housing.

During the session, students from African countries shared their academic backgrounds, experiences studying in China and future career plans. Drawing on the industrial strengths and market needs of their home countries, they discussed potential cooperation in trade, supply chain connectivity and other areas.
