About 40 international students recently visited the Zhenjiang Museum as part of their cultural exploration, marking a key stop in the two-week International Summer School program at Jiangsu University.

The visit took students on a journey through centuries of Chinese history. They admired replica bronze artifacts dating back to the Western Zhou Dynasty (c.11th century-771 BC), exquisite celadon wares from the Song and Yuan dynasties (960-1368), and historical exhibits that document Zhenjiang's transformation in the modern era. The museum's collections offered a vivid introduction to the city's rich cultural legacy.

Fascinated by the exhibits, students paused frequently to observe the artifacts, take photographs, and learn more about the stories behind them.

The museum tour is part of a broader experiential learning program designed to combine academic study with firsthand cultural experiences. In the coming days, participants will also visit the Zhenjiang Vinegar Industrial Park and local agricultural product processing bases for field research.

Through these activities, the international students have gained insights into both China's advanced food industry and the cultural traditions that have shaped the identity of Zhenjiang.
