Kazakhstan's vocational education delegation visits Wuxi University of Technology

A 25-member delegation from Kazakhstan's vocational education sector, organized by Kazakhstan's Center for International Education and Innovation, visited Wuxi University of Technology (WXUT) on Sept 23 for exchanges and cooperation.
Yang Xueqin, the university's deputy Party secretary, extended a warm welcome to the delegation, emphasizing the university's commitment to fostering exchanges and collaboration with higher education institutions from countries involved in the Belt and Road Initiative. She expressed a desire to deepen practical cooperation with universities in Kazakhstan.
Aiman Abzal, representing the Kazakhstani delegation, expressed gratitude for the hospitality and expressed interest in collaborating on student and faculty exchanges, curriculum development, internships, and employment opportunities to jointly cultivate high-quality technical talent.
Zhang Xiaoming, director of the university's Office for International Exchange and Cooperation, highlighted the university's history, academic offerings, and international cooperation initiatives, focusing on achievements in training overseas technical talent and international industry-education cooperation.
In a ceremony witnessed by representatives from both sides, WXUT signed memorandums of understanding with Kazakhstan's Atyrau Agrarian and Technical College, Higher Technical College of Shchuchinsk in Burabay district, and Mangystau Energy College.
The delegation also toured WXUT's facilities, including the Intelligent Manufacturing Engineering Center and the Public Virtual Simulation Training Center, learning about the university's achievements in industry-education integration and training.
