Engineering master's program for 'Belt and Road' countries

Southeast University (SEU) in Jiangsu will open a new master’s program in the 2016 fall semester to train engineering talents from “Belt and Road” countries.

The English-taught master’s program in sustainable infrastructure engineering is designed for senior civil servants of countries along Belt and Road regions.

The year-long course is especially targeted at senior officials in ministries of communications, construction and business, senior managers of related organizations and enterprises, and technical experts of universities and scientific research institutions.

The program aims to train regional construction policy makers and executors with global strategy and the idea of sustainable development, as well as cultivate senior managers and high-tech talents of modern infrastructure construction.

The university specializes in architecture and civil engineering and is also inviting experts and scholars from international top universities and enterprises to give lectures.

The program consists of one-year full-time study and one-year internship in the home country. After obtaining all the regulated credits and finishing the master’s thesis, the student will be awarded a master’s degree in engineering.
