Vocational institute to foster tailor-made talents with German partners

Suzhou Institute of Industrial Technology in Jiangsu province will launch a modern apprenticeship project featuring a series of tailor-made talent trainings with the German Chamber of Commerce's (AHK) branch in Shanghai and Bosch Automotive Products (Suzhou) Co, according to a deal signed among the three parties on March 29.

Xue Feng, the Party chief of the institute, pointed out that the three-party talents training program is an innovation in vocational education. The institute will take care of each student and make tailored training plans specific to each enterprise. Feng said he believed the similar culture and values such as innovation, persistence and striving for excellence shared by the three will ensure training quality.

At the ceremony, representatives from both AHK Shanghai and Bosch expressed their confidence at the bright prospect of the cooperation. Dai Mingliang, the student representative, also made a resolution to learn from German technician's working consciousness to pursue excellent quality and inherit local craftsmanship.
