Yangzhou Polytechnic Institute (YPI), held students exchanges with five domestic colleges on March 8, as part of a greater scheme to share educational resources.
Launched in 2016, the program is available to high achieving students; it exempts them from their tuition fees and allows them to attain equivalent grades and credit.
The participating colleges are all national model vocational institutions with similar majors such as Heilongjiang College of Construction, and Wuhu Institute of Technology.
According to Zhang Jun, general secretary of the School of Construction at YPI, the institute has arranged special curriculums for exchange students.
“The program boosts the exchange between YPI and other first-rate vocational colleges, improving the quality of cultivating students,” Zhang said.
