With China’s national high school exams, the gaokao, finishing on June 9, officials across the country face the daunting task of marking test papers for nearly 10 million students.

Jiangsu Provincial Education Examination Authority held the first open day on June 13, inviting 10 student and parent representatives to see first-hand how it will ensure each paper is graded correctly.
