A Norwegian student, Oestvang Traavik Eivind, said his devotion to Chinese medicine was inspired by a casual try out of acupuncture when his back was sprained ten years ago and the traditional Western-style treatments produced little effect.
From taking acupuncture lessons in Norway in his spare time to formally studying traditional Chinese medicine in Nanjing three years ago, Eivind’s proficiency in the medical tradition has greatly progressed.
“I hope to open up a clinic in Norway, providing more people with traditional Chinese treatments,” Eivind said.
