Professor Allison Dering-Anderson from the medical center at the University of Nebraska, meanwhile, put an emphasis on group discussion in her class on medical treatment and disease prevention.

As a community pharmacy specialist whose research focuses on pharmacist services, Dr Ally said she regarded group discussion as an essential and effective way for students to exchange ideas and understand each other, which will guide the youngsters to better interaction with patients.

A school keen to promote its international image, China Pharmaceutical University has invited various renowned professors from across the world, as well opening multiple English-taught programs targeting overseas students.
