Thanks to their solid grounding at the theoretical level and the school instructors’ practical advice, the foreign NUAA students proved their scientific ideas and operational skills to be well integrated and coordinated, as was their team spirit.

Two teams of Chinese students from NUAA also achieved noteworthy results. Aside from the obstacle race, their performances in 3D printing and business plan evaluation helped them gain the third prize trophy.

The national undergraduate engineering training integration ability competition is funded by the ministries of education and finance and is one of the many competitions in China’s quality of undergraduate engineering education reform project. The project uses practical experimental teaching methods that improve students’ innovation levels by building cooperative team spirit. Every year, a large number of international students take part in the project’s competitions.
