Idizoda Mukhammadzhon, who served at the cloak room of a local hotel, said the off-campus practice gave him an opportunity to have frequent exchanges with Chinese people and enabled him to bring more flexibility to his Chinese speaking.
His warm reception was also appreciated by the guests. He also became friends with some of the guests.
Aside from improving his Chinese, the young man from Tajikistan said the work ethic of the Chinese people inspired him a great deal. “They always seem to be busy,” Idizoda said.
