Nin hao. I am MD.RAKIBUL ISLAM. I’m from Bangladesh.I come to china for my bachelor degree. I’ve been here about one year. My university name is Yancheng Teachers University. It’s situated in Yancheng city, Jiangsu Province. I came here last year September. My major is International Trade and Economics. I can speak English, Bangla, Indian and a little bit Chinese. My hobby is cooking. I’m also like to play football, badminton and all the athletic activities. I’m also like to make friends. Here I have a lot of Chinese friend and also  have  friends  from another country Tajikistan , Kazakhstan , Sri Lanka , Yemen , Indonesia . My vision is to learning business and to be preparing for next generation world trade system.

When I came to my university first time, I was so excited about my university. When I came here I can’t believe my eyes I found my university area so much beautiful and I feel so much happy. I’m also found very friendly and good teachers. They are so helpful and expert to teach us.

Though I miss my family a lot but I found another family by my teachers and friends. Now I feel so much better to live here. Regularly I go to class and doing my study work. I complete my lesson in the classroom and also like to study in our university library.

Now I’m telling my memorable on year in China. China is a very big and very diverse country. It’s almost the opposite of a lot of westernized countries. Other countries in some way’s can be similar to China, such as India is pretty close. China has over 5000years of history. This makes for a very interesting country to learn about. The history is one thing makes China a very unique and appealing country.

As a Communist country, China has no official religion. That being said, the government does officially recognize five religions: Buddhism, Taoism, Islam, Catholicism, and Protestantism. As of the last official census in 2010, 52.2% of the population said they were unaffiliated with any religion. 

When it comes to transportation, China is king. There is not a single country that can compare to the methods of transportation that China has. China is a very big country, and one thing they did right transportation. China has more buses then all other countries in the world combined. China has more high speed rails then all other countries in the world combined. It is extremely easy to get a taxi, uber, or rickshaw in all parts of China.

Food in China is just amazing. Before coming china I had a lot of wrong idea about Chinese foods. I was travel at some place of China and never eat same foods. I was also attended some dinner party with my teachers and friends. Every region in China specializes in different styles of food. China utilizes every aspect of everything, no waste so there is such a variety amazing   food.

China is suitable country for travelling.  There is a lots of travelling places in China. Every city has historical places. This year on march we travelling in Dafeng with our teachers and friends. We were stay there one night. It was really a beautiful place and we enjoy so much there. I’m also travelling  Gongzhou, Nanjing, Zenjiang, Lijiang. And I will travel more cities in China next time when I have time. I see Chinese people also spend a lot of money for travelling.    

Characterized by diverse styles and themes, traditional Chinese festivals are an important part of the country's history and culture, both ancient and modern. Many of the customs connected with the traditional festivals have links with religious devotions, superstitions and myths. Almost every festival has its own unique origins and customs which reflect the traditional practices and morality of the whole Chinese nation and its people. The grandest and most popular festivals are the Chinese New Year (Spring Festival), the Lantern Festival, the Qingming Festival, the Dragon Boat Festival, the Mid-autumn Festival, etc. This year I was celebrate Spring Festival, Mid-autumn Festival.  Every Festival have many kinds of delicious foods.

About Chinese people they are really gentle and helpful. When I lost my way and I found something Chinese people help me easily to found that. When I ask for help to them they always help me so close and friendly. After staying here I feel so glad of Chinese people.

I’ve also attended a lots of cultural program that organized by our university. I enjoyed Chinese drama, songs, dance there. Their performance was so amazing. There make-up, dress up, decorations, all things are so much beautiful.

Above all I want to say that China is the most beautiful country I have ever seen.Because Chinese people,  Chinese culture, Chinese foods, Chinese weather all are suitable. Now our third semester is going on. We are staying and studying well till now and our teachers also help us to do well and hope we will be good in the future and will have a unforgettable day in china and Yancheng  teachers  university. That’s all about me one year of my life in China. Thanks for giving me the great opportunity to study in Chin . I hope my next days go well.
