Definitely, in people's life an individual's living place plays an important role. It can define your destiny, your past, present and future life, and the people whom you will meet who will also influence you. So, according to this fact I realized that you are the place where you live. People say "it does not matter where you are because you will always take yourself there". I'm I don’t not agree with the point of view because I think a place can change everything in people's life. If you want to be rich you would better go to a country with a lot of opportunities, if you want to have a very conservative wife you would better go to a strict country, if you want to be totally free with your choices you would better go to a liberal country. In another case, if a conservative person goes to a modern liberal country then he or she will become an open minded human, etc. In my case, I wanted to learn Chinese and that is why I came to China, Jiangsu Province. At that time I didn’t realize that I can change this much, especially because I was eighteen years old and this age defines what a person you will become. It is an age when people grow up and become a person. The experience of going to another country gave me a lot of opportunities, a wonderful changes of my point of view. Now I feel that I am much more wise and mature than before. But before I decided to go to China I did not know well what I want to do with my future. Then I understood I want to be able to speak few languages. That is my dream. Did it become true? Yes. It is so miraculous to realize that after few years I am now writing an essay in English and at the same time I can also speak Russian and Chinese. My small but cozy and beautiful Zhenjiang helped me to make my dreams become true. I have an opportunity to understand Chinese from the deepest meaning of it. Zhenjiang gave me a chance to know many beautiful people and to get smarter by talking to them, including both Chinese and Foreign people. I can know more about China and learn Chinese by talking to Chinese people and know more about another part of the world and learn English by talking to Foreigners. Staying in China with many different people from different country taught me how to be polite, behave and understand other customs, religions and nationalities. I am sure I would never master the priceless skill if I stayed in Russia.

Since I came to China I have got more knowledge about history, culture, languages and many more, especially about Jiangsu Province. For example, I knew that Nanjing was a capital of China and that once Japanese army killed many people there and the nonsense called Nanjing massacre. It seems like I'm Chinese because I feel the pain for their people just like they do. But I still want to know more because Chinese culture is one of the most interesting in the world. They have largest quantity of customs, dialects, different food, etc. It is really unbelievable and I hope I will have enough time to explore the culture. I hope I will still have a chance to take a part in traditional Chinese tea ceremony, dances, celebrate Chinese holidays, wear Qipao, and cook traditional food and do this all being surrounded by Chinese people to see the culture from its deepest point. I think a country is like a human. It's easy to see the appearance but difficult to see its soul. I saw the appearance of China but it is not enough for me, I want to know China's soul. It's my little Chinese dream. To watch how people behave, what can make them sad, angry or happy, what they do in different situations, how they dream and what about, the way they live, have fun and share their happiness with others. For example, I remember how once I had an awkward situation. My Chinese friend and me were studying together and I wanted to put a book on floor but when my friend saw it he was shocked and he told me to do not put books there again in China because they appreciate knowledge.

I knew the country not only by people but by looking around its towns and traveling. I went to many cities such as Shanghai, Beijing, Suzhou, Yangzhou, Changzhou, Xuzhou, Wuxi and Nanjing. In my opinion, big cities are good but small cities are more comfortable for living and cozy. Among all cities in Chine, I love Beijing, Wuxi and Yangzhou most. I am so thankful to China to have an opportunity to participate in such activities because just because of it I visited the capital city: Beijing. And I'm sure now that it's just a start, I will know more and more.
